Helium Revenue Update

In the beginning of my quest to make extra money online and build up my sources of income (I hate saying multiple income streams or “passive” income..it just feels like those terms are spit out constantly…so I call it alternate income to make myself feel better), I stumbled upon Helium. At first I started to write some personal finance blurbs because they were quick, easy, fun, and something I was interested in writing about anyway.

After a couple weeks though, I noticed that some of these articles ranked pretty highly. Like anything else I was glad to see people enjoyed my writing and the emotional benefit far outweighed the piddly advertising revenue. So it is that I continue my Helium quest, writing at a new piece at least once a week in the hope that people enjoy the content as well as building up a viable stream of income. I know everyone loves to see big numbers when it comes to making money online (Kudos to Geniustypes for the bank he pulls in!), but the bottom line is I’m not there yet. So you’re stuck with my minutely small income for the month!

Helium Summary:

Income Since July: $20.42

Income in September: $1.39

Impressive no? That’s like a cup of coffee at WaWa! I like to think of it this way. If I did nothing at Helium from here out, I’d still pull in that $1.50ish each month. I’d need 400$ in a high-yield savings account to bring that in. It doesn’t seem quite so small in that regard.

My surveys have been coming along much better. Not nearly as good as the 75$/month I pull in at Nesteggr, but still very well. I’ll update you on my survey income as my money project 1 continues Monday.

Enjoy your day!
